This standout project in New Milton saw us transform a large, underutilised bedroom into a luxurious, fully functional master suite — combining high-end design with everyday practicality. The aim was to create a space that felt cohesive, organised, and indulgent, giving our client a true retreat within their home.

The original room lacked structure and purpose, so the design focused on reimagining the space into clearly defined zones that work seamlessly together. By introducing a dedicated dressing area, a spacious en-suite, and a separate cloakroom, we were able to create a layout that supports both comfort and convenience, particularly during busy mornings.

A key feature of the new suite is the dressing room area, designed with both style and usability in mind. We installed a generous 800mm basin with a drawer unit that provides practical, easy-access storage. Unlike traditional cupboards, the drawer system ensures everything is within reach — eliminating the need to search through deep units and helping to keep the space organised and clutter-free. This thoughtful approach to storage makes a noticeable difference to daily routines.

At the heart of the suite is the impressive 1200 x 800mm walk-in shower, designed to deliver a true spa-like experience. Fitted with a Mira digital shower system, the shower can be turned on before stepping in, allowing it to reach the perfect temperature in advance. This small but impactful feature adds a layer of comfort and luxury that elevates the entire space. The generous size of the enclosure enhances the open feel of the room, making it as practical as it is indulgent.

To further improve functionality, we incorporated a separate cloakroom with an additional washbasin. This provides added flexibility within the suite, making it ideal for shared use or busy mornings when multiple areas are needed at once. It’s a subtle but highly effective addition that enhances how the space works in real life.

The overall aesthetic of the suite is clean, modern, and timeless. Polished chrome brassware was selected to bring a bright, refined finish to the fittings, complementing the simplicity of the design. Full floor-to-ceiling tiling creates a seamless look throughout the en-suite, adding to the sense of quality and ensuring the space is easy to maintain.
